How it works
Last Round coordinates journeys between venues and licensed transport providers. It does not sell transport, collect fares or dispatch private drivers.
For passengers
- Scan the code at the venue or open the link a staff member gives you. No app and no account.
- Tell us roughly where you are going, how many people are travelling and when you will be ready.
- You can add a first name and phone number only if you want to — it is optional and consent is recorded.
- Your status page shows: request received, looking for transport, assigned, approaching, arrived, completed, or unable to match yet.
- You can cancel at any time and share your status link with someone waiting for you.
For venues
- A live board shows who is waiting, party sizes, broad destinations and how long people have been waiting.
- Staff can enter an assisted request for anyone without a smartphone or who needs help.
- Pickup points are managed by the venue so people wait in the right, safest place.
- Approaching vehicles are listed with ETA, with a map when map services are configured.
- Requests that cannot be met are recorded with a reason rather than deleted.
For licensed providers
- Only approved licensed taxi, hackney, minibus or other SPSV operators can take work. No private motorists.
- The opportunity board shows venue, approximate ready time, passenger count and broad destination.
- Accepting an opportunity creates an assignment and updates the passenger straight away.
- Drivers move the job through en route, approaching, arrived and completed.
- Location sharing exists only while an assignment is active and stops at completion or cancellation.
Scheduled licensed departures
- Venues and administrators can publish an approved vehicle departure with provider, vehicle, pickup point, time, capacity and a broad route note.
- Remaining capacity and upcoming departures are visible to staff.
- This coordinates licensed capacity only. It is not ride pooling between strangers and there is no fare splitting.
